Our service and your agreement

These terms govern your use of SoulName at soulname.love, operated by Zhang Wei, an individual based in China. When using or purchasing the service, you must be able to enter into a binding agreement under the law that applies to you, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who is responsible for that agreement.

SoulName helps you explore Chinese names through language, cultural references, and the personal qualities you want a name to express. It provides digital name suggestions and cards, with AI assistance or human work as described in your plan. It does not provide fortune-telling, astrology, spiritual-outcome services, therapy, legal name registration, or trademark clearance.

Plans, prices, and delivery

• Basic — $10 USD. SoulName AI creates three Chinese name cards, then recommends the best fit.

These are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Your selected plan and the final amount, including any applicable taxes, are shown at checkout. Future price changes do not change an order already paid for. Additional purchases or upgrades require a separate checkout.

Results are delivered digitally through your account. AI work begins after payment is confirmed and the necessary naming information is available. Expert review usually returns in 1 to 2 days during China working hours, 08:00–17:00 UTC+8; this is an estimate, not a guaranteed deadline. If delivery is delayed or fails, contact support.

Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Checkout and payment administration are provided through Dodo Payments. Payment terms shown at checkout may also apply. Our Refund Policy explains duplicate charges, technical non-delivery, cancellation of human work before it begins, and issues with completed results.

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights, including any cancellation, refund, or remedy rights that apply in your country. Delivery of personalised or digital content does not, by itself, constitute a waiver of those rights.

Accounts and information you provide

Provide information you are entitled to use and keep access to your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for the material you submit and for deciding what to publish through sharing or voting links. Our Privacy Policy explains the processing of account details, conversations, and naming records.

Acceptable use

Use SoulName for lawful naming and personal expression. You must not:

• Submit illegal, sexually explicit, exploitative, hateful, or threatening content, or request NSFW output.
• Harass people, impersonate someone deceptively, or disclose another person’s private information without permission.
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights in the material you submit or share.
• Attempt unauthorised access, bypass payment or usage controls, or disrupt the service.

We may restrict access or remove content in response to misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements. This does not remove any mandatory rights relating to an undelivered purchase.

Understanding and using your results

AI-generated suggestions and explanations can contain errors. Human recommendations also involve judgement. Names may have different associations across regions, dialects, or contexts, and no suggestion guarantees acceptance, uniqueness, a particular life outcome, or suitability for official registration.

You retain rights you hold in your submitted material and allow us to process it as needed to deliver, support, and secure the service. You may use the delivered names and cards for personal or professional self-identification. This does not transfer ownership of SoulName’s software, branding, or reusable artwork and templates, or grant rights that belong to someone else. Review names before important uses.

Availability, questions, and changes

Service may be interrupted by maintenance or technical problems. If this affects a paid order, contact us so that we can investigate and arrange the applicable remedy. We do not exclude responsibility where doing so would be unlawful.

Questions or complaints can be sent to support@soulname.love. We may update these terms for future use and will identify changes by the date on this page. Changes do not retrospectively reduce your rights for purchases already made.
